And so, I've created this. I'm not too sure where to take it yet, but it's a thing. I suppose only time will tell how it evolves. For the most part, however, I see this turning into a sort of digital portfolio for graphic design, one of my many hobbies. Who knows? Maybe it'll get me on the road for freelance work. I'd like that. After all, when considering the modern job market, and how it seems that some of the listings aren't even real, I've come to the realization that the only one who I know will always support me is myself.
And so, here I am, planning on putting my creative work out there. And, although that creative work does include writing, this is not that writing; These weblogs are, first and foremost, for me. After all, it must be more productive than screaming into the void, no?. I've tried this whole "Neocities" thing a while ago, but eventually decided to just nuke it all, out of... Well... I don't really remember why. Just that I did.
Maybe out of boredom. Maybe out of burnout. Maybe because I had so few ideas that the entire site grew stale and outdated. Maybe because I had so many ideas that it felt overwhelming. Or maybe, just maybe, because I have a life outside of this screen. Well, now that I'm between jobs, I may as well fill the free time with something.
